Announcing Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 26120.3291 (Dev and Beta Channels)
- Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 26120.3291 (KB5052080) is being released to the Dev and Beta Channels with improvements for Copilot+ PCs.
- Improved Windows Search now allows finding cloud-saved files directly from the taskbar search box on Snapdragon-powered Copilot+ PCs.
- Recall improvements include the deletion of previous snapshots, with new snapshot-saving functionality continuing if enabled in settings.
- Dev Channel updates based on Windows 11, version 24H2, are optional for Beta Channel users but will become recommended later this year.
- Users in the Dev Channel have a limited time to switch to the Beta Channel as the Dev Channel advances to newer builds.
- New Copilot+ PC experiences include searching for cloud-stored photos using Windows Search on the taskbar.
- Various fixes are being rolled out, including for Live Captions, File Explorer, Power & Battery, Graphics, and Remote Desktop issues.
- Known issues such as incorrect build version display post-PC reset and Recall snapshot-saving problems are being addressed in future updates.
- Snipping Tool is getting an update in the Canary and Dev Channels introducing a trim capability for screen recordings.
- Windows Insiders are advised to provide feedback on features and known issues via the Feedback Hub for continuous improvement.
