Bollinger Motors, an EV startup, is reportedly in receivership pending liquidation as its founder, Robert Bollinger, claims he is owed $10 million and filed a lawsuit against the company.
Assets of Bollinger Motors, including B4 trucks awaiting buyers, are now frozen after a court ruling granted the receivership request.
There are additional legal actions involved, with at least two lawsuits from suppliers also in the mix, and the appointed receiver has 30 days to submit a plan for the company to pay its debts.
The company's President and CEO remains optimistic about the future impact on the commercial vehicle market, mentioning plans for Model Year 2026 production, despite the current situation.
