Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, N Chandrababu Naidu, has directed the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) to be cautious in the expenditure to be incurred in the name of development.
Naidu emphasized that the TTD should remember its role as trustees for the Lord and ensure that the funds collected from hundi and donations are not misused.
He recommended a Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) audit, along with internal auditing, to be conducted on the TTD expenses.
Naidu also stressed the need for a master plan to develop associate temples and improve facilities for devotees.
