Apple has updated its list of vintage and obsolete products, classifying the 2013 Mac Pro, 2019 MacBook Air, 2019 iMac, and others as vintage.
Vintage products are those that Apple stops distributing and offering for sale more than 5 years and less than 7 years ago, signaling the end of their life cycle and the winding down of replacement part availability.
The 2013 Mac Pro, famously known as the 'trash can' Mac, is at the top of the vintage list.
Some AirPort devices, such as AirPort Express (2nd Generation) and AirPort Time Capsule, have been moved from vintage to obsolete status, where Apple stops providing parts and services for repairs after more than 7 years of discontinuation.
