Apple has postponed plans to create a more affordable Vision Pro headset until beyond 2027. As a result, the only new head-mounted display from Apple expected in 2025 is an updated Vision Pro. If successful, the updated processor may have great appeal to the market given the increased power over the current model. It is anticipated that the “affordable” pricing of any new product from Apple will still be more expensive than its competitors. Like the Vision Pro device, the current HomePod speakers have failed to move mainstream.
