Apple is expanding its Self Service Repair program to Canada this summer, allowing customers to purchase genuine Apple parts, tools, and repair manuals directly from the company for DIY fixes at home.
The program, first introduced in 2022, provides users with access to the same repair guides, replacement components, and tools used by Apple Store technicians and Authorized Service Providers.
The Self Service Repair Store currently supports 65 different Apple devices, including iPhone models, Macs like MacBook Air and Mac Studio, and this expansion will allow Canadians to order parts for these devices directly from Apple.
Apple's Self Service Repair program is already available in 33 countries and regions and provides users with the option to repair key components for iPhone, iPad, and Mac devices without visiting an Apple Store or Authorized Service Provider.
