Apple is facing a false advertising lawsuit over delaying the Siri Apple Intelligence features it promoted during the launch of iOS 18 and iPhone 16 models.
The lawsuit claims that Apple created consumer expectations that the features would be available upon release, driving excitement and prompting unnecessary device upgrades.
Apple removed the ads after confirming the delay but had already run them for several months.
The plaintiffs are seeking class action status and damages for customers who purchased an Apple device supporting Apple Intelligence.
