Apple Inc. has produced $22 billion worth of iPhones in India during the past 12 months, increasing production by nearly 60% compared to the previous year.
The company now manufactures 20% of its iPhones in India, as it continues to diversify away from China.
The majority of India-made iPhones are assembled at Foxconn Technology Group's factory, with Tata Group's electronics manufacturing arm also being a key supplier.
Shipments of iPhones from India to the US have increased, following the announcement of reciprocal tariffs by former President Donald Trump.
