Apple is rumored to be expanding its XR device lineup with new Vision series headsets and smart glasses.
Supply chain analyst Ming-Chi Kuo suggests Apple may introduce seven new head-mounted wearables, starting with a Vision Pro headset and a lighter, cheaper Vision Air in 2027.
The reported plans also include launching smart glasses with voice control, gesture recognition, camera capabilities, and AI environmental sensing features in 2027, similar to Meta Ray-Bans but with improvements.
Apple might unveil a 2nd-gen Vision Pro and display-equipped XR glasses in 2028, along with other devices in development, although the timeline for some devices remains unclear.
