Apple has joined China’s national subsidy program, offering discounts on select products like iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and MacBook in Beijing and Shanghai.
Consumers can get discounts of up to 2,000 yuan on eligible Apple products through Apple's retail channels in China.
The subsidy applies to purchases made in Apple Stores in Shanghai and online orders with a Beijing shipping address.
Certain models of the iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and Mac computers costing below 6,000 yuan are eligible for discounts.
The Chinese government subsidy program aims to incentivize consumer spending, offering up to a 15% subsidy on devices under 6,000 yuan.
Apple previously offered subsidies through local e-commerce platforms but now does so through its own retail channels.
