Apple October Mac event: everything we expect to be announced

  • Apple's September's iPhone 16 launch event was full of new devices, but multiple rumors suggest a second event in October.
  • Apple's October events are usually hosted on a Monday or Tuesday, and the dates for this year's event center around October 14 or 15 or October 28 or 29.
  • The MacBook Pro is expected to be updated with M4 and M4 Max chips, but design changes aren't expected, and an OLED MacBook Pro won't be seen until 2026 at the earliest.
  • The Mac mini is set to receive a new look at Apple's October event and move to USB-C ports and include an M4 and M4 Pro chips.
  • The iMac is expected to receive an M4 chip, and we might see a new Magic Keyboard, Magic Mouse, and Magic Trackpad with USB-C charging ports.
