Apple is rumored to release its first smart glasses in 2026 with features comparable to Meta’s Ray-Bans and Google’s Android XR glasses.
The glasses are said to have cameras, microphones, speakers, and Siri voice assistant support, enabling functions like phone calls, music playback, live translations, and turn-by-turn directions.
Reports suggest Apple's smart glasses could arrive by the end of 2026, and the project is being developed by the Vision Products Group with multiple models in the works.
Apple has also shelved plans for a camera-equipped Apple Watch model, while continuing work on camera-equipped AirPods and planning to release a smart home hub with AI features by the end of 2025.
