US President Donald Trump has threatened Apple with tariffs of at least 25% on every iPhone sold in the US unless the manufacturing is brought back to America.
Trump mentioned in a post on Truth Social that if Apple doesn't manufacture iPhones in the US, a tariff of at least 25% must be paid by Apple to the US.
Apple stocks initially fell due to the threat but have since rebounded slightly, currently down 2.36% compared to the previous day's closing price.
Analysts believe it would be challenging for Apple to shift large-scale manufacturing back to the US within a short timeframe, making the 25% tariff potentially a more cost-effective option for the company.
