Apple has agreed to pay $20 million to settle a class-action lawsuit over battery swelling on the Apple Watch.The lawsuit alleged that the problem affected the first four Apple Watch models and claimed that battery swelling could damage other components.Apple denies the allegations and states that the settlement was made to avoid further litigation and future legal fees.To be eligible for compensation, users must have alerted Apple customer service to the issue between April 24, 2015, and February 6, 2024.
