Apple is expanding its self-service repair program to include iPads like mini, Air, and Pro models, offering spare parts and repair kits starting tomorrow.
The program covers newer iPad models like the A16-powered iPad, A17 Pro iPad mini, M4-based iPad Pro, and M2 iPad Air along with M3 versions of that tablet.
Repair kits and components for iPads will include displays, batteries, cameras, and charging ports, with tool kits available for rent, but prices have not been announced yet.
The Self Service Repair program, which began in 2022 focusing on iPhones, has expanded to include select Macs and MacBooks. It will soon cover Canada and MobileSentrix will be added as a US parts distributor.
