Apple's new entry-level iPad ups the performance for the same price, but doesn't support Apple Intelligence

  • Apple has upgraded its entry-level iPad to the iPad (A16) which features the A16 chip, offering up to 50% faster performance and double the starting storage.
  • The new iPad is available at a starting price of $349 and comes with 128GB of internal storage. However, it does not support Apple Intelligence.
  • Despite the lack of Apple Intelligence, the iPad (A16) still offers a USB-C port for charging, a Touch ID sensor, and support for Apple Pencil and Magic Keyboard Folio.
  • The iPad (A16) also features an 11-inch Liquid Retina display, a 12-megapixel camera on both the front and back, and support for Center Stage.
