Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs has vetoed a bill that would have created a Bitcoin Reserve from seized digital assets.
The bill aimed to update forfeiture laws to include digital assets and establish a fund for managing cryptocurrencies obtained through criminal asset forfeiture.
Governor Hobbs vetoed this and two other pro-crypto bills, citing concerns about the volatility of crypto assets.
Connecticut has also banned the establishment of a Bitcoin Reserve with a recent bill signed into law by Governor Ned Lamont.
