Ashneer Grover, a former BharatPe co-founder & managing director, revealed that he made a cool 2.25 crore from the Zomato IPO within 8 minutes of its opening in July last year.
Grover stated in his memoir 'Doglapan' that he applied for shares worth ₹100 crore during Zomato's IPO, but he received an allotment of shares worth more than 3 crore.
He said that he became a little greedy post the Zomato IPO. "I went in for the Car Trade IPO but ended up losing ₹25 lakh there," he added.
