Aspirations at Novo Nordisk are to create a working environment with high levels of well-being proactive in preventing stress symptoms, where employees are supported in developing strategies to prevent stress and build resilience.
To create an engaged workforce at Novo Nordisk, Kalliath said there needs to be a strong purpose within the organization and an employee's work should add meaning to themselves and contribute to the organisation's purpose. In addition, it is important to focus on employee growth, impact, relationships, and inclusion, besides a healthy and safe environment to drive an engaged workforce.
Babu Jose Kalliath spends most of his free time with his family and loved ones, is actively involved in church engagements, and volunteers in various give-back activities, which give him a lot of meaning and satisfaction. He occasionally loves watching comedy series and has a good laugh.
In 2025, Kalliath would like to sustain and build upon the good work related to organisational development and change management, realize its impact on business and growth ambitions within APAC, and implement pay transparency initiatives within the region.
