AstraZeneca has announced the expansion of its global hub in Bengaluru with a ₹166 crore investment, creating 400 jobs.
This investment will support the company’s AI-powered innovation in research and development, global business services, IT, and digital health.
AstraZeneca's expansion in India includes the recent investment in its Global Innovation and Technology Centre in Chennai, bringing its total employees in India to nearly 4,000.
The Bengaluru global hub will focus on advanced clinical research, AI-powered healthcare solutions, data analytics, and global regulatory compliance. The facility emphasizes environmental sustainability with LEED Platinum certification and 75% use of green energy.
