Audi Australia is set to release the A3 40 TFSI quattro in late 2025, filling the gap between the 35 TFSI S line and the high-performance S3 models.
The new Audi A3 variant will feature a 150kW 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine and all-wheel drive system, offering a 10kW increase over the outgoing model.
The pricing and full specifications for the A3 40 TFSI quattro are yet to be revealed, but it is expected to be priced in the low- to mid-$60,000 range, competing with models like the BMW 120 M Sport and the Mercedes-Benz A250 4Matic.
In the first half of 2025, the Audi A3 has seen a decline in sales compared to its competitors, with 747 registrations, while models like the 1 Series and A-Class have achieved higher numbers in the small luxury car segment.
