Audi has decided to halt vehicle shipments to the U.S. as a result of the 25% tariffs imposed by President Donald Trump on imported vehicles.
The German automaker currently has approximately 37,000 vehicles in its U.S. inventory, which is expected to fulfill demand for about two months.
Audi's best-selling model in the U.S., the Q5, is produced in Mexico, making it particularly vulnerable to the impact of tariffs.
Other automakers, such as Jaguar Land Rover and Nissan, have also taken measures in response to the tariffs, including pausing shipments and cancelling new orders.
