Aveta Motor Malaysia denies any involvement with defunct motorcycle brand Demak, clarifying that they are not affiliated, connected, or associated in any way.
Aveta Motor is an independent and wholly owned Malaysian brand established in 2018 as part of the MAG Group, involved in the manufacture, assembly, and distribution of Aveta motorcycles in Malaysia.
Demak, under DNC Asiatic, ceased operations in Malaysia in 2018, closing its factory and leaving workers unemployed. The factory was to be sold to repay debts and bank loans.
The 260,000 square foot Demak factory assembled scooters, kapchais, three- and four-wheel light commercial, and utility vehicles before closing in May 2018.
