The Ministry of Civil Aviation has introduced a transition plan to facilitate the absorption of nearly 10,000 Celebi employees by other service providers at major Indian airports.
This initiative follows Celebi's decision to wind down its operations at key Indian airports, prompting the need for a smooth handover process.
Existing Airport Entry Permits for Celebi staff will remain valid until May 19, and new permits will be issued under incoming ground-handling employers to prevent operational disruptions.
While the transition plan is in progress, decisions regarding the redistribution of Celebi's assets and staff among existing and new service providers are still under review to ensure uninterrupted ground operations.
