Amazon Web Services (AWS) is building new data centers in Chile, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, and Taiwan to meet the growing demand for AI.
AWS aims to expand its stock of Nvidia’s latest semiconductor, the GB200, and CEO Matt Garman mentioned that demand is strong.
AWS has 114 availability zones with plans for 12 more, serving 245 countries, but does not disclose its actual data center count.
The server market is expected to reach $1.3 trillion by 2028, with major players like Amazon, Microsoft, Google Cloud, and others investing in AI data centers to support AI technologies.
