Astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla and three other crew members of the Axiom-4 mission are set to return to Earth from the International Space Station on July 14, as confirmed by NASA.
The Axiom-4 mission, which began on June 25 with the Dragon spacecraft docking at the ISS, has involved a high beta period for careful thermal management due to near-constant sunlight.
During their mission, Shukla and his crew have completed close to 230 orbits around Earth, traveled more than six million miles, and engaged in various activities including research and connecting with Earth.
The Ax-4 mission included over 60 experiments across various scientific domains, aiming to contribute to advancements in human space exploration and potentially impact areas such as diabetes management and cancer treatments.
