Cadillac has no plans to develop a Corvette-based model, according to GM President Mark Reuss.
Reuss mentioned that such a car wouldn't align with Cadillac's current strategy, as it may share too many components with Chevrolet, diluting its uniqueness.
Cadillac is focusing on specialty vehicles for growth, exemplified by the $340,000 Celestiq, aiming for exclusivity similar to Bugatti.
The C8 Corvette offers various powertrain options spanning from 490 hp to 1,064 hp, leaving limited space for a similar Cadillac model.
