<ul><li>EP Manufacturing Bhd (EPMB) will begin locally assembling (CKD) the BAIC X55 and BJ40 Plus models in 1Q 2025.</li><li>Both models have been open for booking since May, with estimated starting prices of RM129,XXX for BAIC X55 and RM188,XXX for BJ40 Plus.</li><li>EPMB signed a 10-year contract with BAIC International Development for local assembly of the models.</li><li>The BAIC X55 is a C-segment SUV, while the BJ40 Plus is a rugged body-on-frame vehicle resembling the Jeep Wrangler.</li></ul>
