Porsche's newly appointed boss in Germany, Robert Ader, declared the Taycan as the best electric car in the world.
Taycan production had to be adjusted due to lower-than-expected demand, with sales dropping by 49% last year.
Despite challenges, Ader defended Taycan's performance, stating it holds a 20% share of Germany's electric sedan segment.
Porsche considers the coexistence of combustion cars and EVs for many years ahead, with plans to produce Panamera with combustion engines well into the 2030s.
