Binance has cracked down on the use of trading bots in its Alpha Points program after tracing bot-associated activities.
The exchange has prohibited the use of bots to maintain fairness and has updated its risk control systems to monitor bot usage on the platform.
Bots are automated software programs used by traders to execute trades based on predefined strategies, operating autonomously 24/7.
The Alpha Points program offers rewards for interacting with projects on the Binance Alpha platform, but bots were being used to artificially inflate engagement metrics and farm rewards.
