Reliance Industries has appointed Biswaroop Mukherjee as the chief human resource officer (CHRO) for its battery business, effective from July.
Mukherjee will be responsible for shaping the human capital strategy for the battery business, focusing on building a future-ready workforce, sustainability, and innovation in HR practices.
Prior to this role, Mukherjee was associated with Aker Solutions as vice president – people and transformation, where he focused on driving organisational change and aligning people initiatives with business-transformation goals.
With an MBA from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Mukherjee has extensive HR experience in companies like Tata Motors and Deloitte, and he recently launched a website and a book.
