Social media platform Bluesky has assured its users that it has 'no intention' of using their posted content to train generative AI.
Bluesky utilizes AI internally for content moderation and its Discover algorithmic feed, but none of these systems are trained on user content.
The reassurance comes after fellow social media platform X.com announced changes to its privacy policy, allowing the use of user posts to train AI models.
X.com has previously made privacy policy changes to access user-based training data, including allowing third-party 'collaborators' to train models on user data unless users opt out.
