<ul data-eligibleForWebStory="true">BMW has unveiled the 2026 XM model with a more focused lineup and subtle updates.The entry-level standard variant has been removed for 2026, with all XM models now offering a high-performance plug-in hybrid setup.The XM features a twin-turbocharged 4.4-litre V8 engine with a 19.2 kWh battery and an electric motor, delivering 738 hp and 1,000 Nm of torque.Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds and a top speed of 290 km/h with the optional M Driver’s Package.Enhancements for the 2026 XM include faster AC charging and new visual upgrades like welcome light animation and paint options.Interior updates offer three new themes with premium leather options and rear seat comfort cushions.Production of the 2026 XM will start in August at BMW's Spartanburg plant, with pricing to be revealed closer to the launch.The base model previously started at R3,400,000, while the XM Label was priced from R3,650,000.
