BMW India is unfazed by the prospect of Tesla's entry into India, as its MD Vikram Pawah believes it will only grow the EV segment in India.According to Pawah, more competition in the market leads to growth, and BMW and Tesla have co-existed in other markets worldwide.In 2024, BMW India sold a total of 1,249 units of electric cars, and in 2025, sales have already reached 646 units.BMW India is on track to achieve its target of drawing 15% of total sales from EVs by 2025 and is happy with the progress.
