<ul><li>34 BMW Motorrad R1250 RT and R1300 GS motorcycles were supplied for duty in Istana Negara, replacing older models in use by the palace.</li><li>The motorcycles will be used for escort and traffic control duties to enhance the efficiency of escort and security outriders for Istana Negara.</li><li>The handover ceremony took place at the palace administration block with key officials from Traffic Enforcement and Investigation Department (JSPT) and Ammo Defence Solutions in attendance.</li><li>The BMW Motorrad R1250 RT is priced at RM153,500, while the BMW Motorrad R1300 GS has a recommended retail price of RM138,500 in Malaysia.</li></ul>
