Mrs Bectors Food Specialities (Bectors) is expanding beyond its strong foothold in north India to focus on markets like Maharashtra and Karnataka due to high bakery product consumption in metros such as Mumbai and Bengaluru.
The company is adding capacity and manufacturing lines in new and existing facilities to deepen its presence in underpenetrated regions, expecting revenues of ₹3,400 crore in the coming years at peak capacity utilization.
By FY26, most of the capex is expected to be completed, leading to lower capital intensity and improved return ratios. Bectors plans to increase its outlet reach to 1 million from the current 700,000 and achieve 30% y-o-y growth in Cremica Preferred Outlets by FY26.
The company's QSR arm aims for better performance with the introduction of frozen foods and desserts to expand its market share. Key risks include raw material inflation and potential distribution or capacity ramp-up slowdowns.
