BSNL has launched its 5G broadband services in India known as Quantum-5G FWA, currently available in select cities like Hyderabad.
Two BSNL Q-5G FWA plans are priced at Rs 999/month for 100 Mbps speed and Rs 1,499/month for 300 Mbps speed.
These plans cater to enterprise and home broadband users, offering high-speed internet without the need for SIM cards or wired connections.
BSNL is likely to introduce more tariffs for the Q-5G FWA service in the future.
The service does not support voice calls, and commercial FUP limits for data consumption have not been specified yet.
BSNL Q-5G FWA services are currently available in Hyderabad, with plans to expand to cities like Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Gwalior, and others by September 2025.
The new 5G service targets tier-2 and tier-3 cities without optical fiber connections and will operate similarly to Airtel Xstream Fiber and Jio AirFiber.
Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) will be installed on subscribers' rooftops to deliver 5G connectivity through a router for the BSNL Q-5G FWA service.
Users interested in the installation process can check BSNL's official website or contact local BSNL offices for more details.
