<ul><li>Burglars attempted a break-in at a software engineer's house in Rohini, North West Delhi.</li><li>The incident was reported on July 19, around 8 am when the elderly couple, who owned the house, were away visiting their son in Gurgaon.</li><li>The burglars couldn't find any valuables inside the house, which apparently had no valuable items. The almirahs were untouched.</li><li>In a strange twist, the burglars left behind a Rs 500 note at the scene before fleeing the house.</li></ul>
