<ul><li>Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer BYD has developed new fast-charging technology that can add 400km (249 miles) of range from a five-minute charge.</li><li>The "Super e-Platform" tech can charge at peak speeds of 1,000kW, double the speed of Tesla V4 superchargers.</li><li>BYD plans to invest in over 4,000 ultra-fast chargers across China using the new platform, in order to address charging anxiety for its users.</li><li>Recently, BYD also launched a roof-mounted drone launcher, closing the gap on Tesla in terms of sales.</li></ul>
