Chinese electric vehicle maker BYD has unveiled its 'Super e-Platform,' consisting of flash-charge batteries, high-performance electric motors, and silicon carbide power chips.
The flash-charge batteries have a 10 C charge multiplier, meaning they can be fully charged in six minutes, and support charging power of up to 1,000 kW.
BYD plans to construct a network of more than 4,000 supercharging stations across China, supporting 1,000 kW charging power.
The company also introduced high-performance electric motors and showcased the upcoming Han L sedan and Tang L SUV, equipped with its smart driving system.
