BYD's U9 electric supercar, manufactured and sold by Yangwang, has set a new speed record for a Chinese car at 391.94 km/h.The U9 aims to compete against high-performance EVs from European manufacturers like Rimac and Porsche.During testing at the Nürburgring, the U9 achieved a lap time of 7:17.900, showing promising performance against its competitors.The U9 is equipped with a quad-motor all-wheel drive setup, 960kW of power, and an 80kWh Blade battery with a claimed electric range of 450km.
