<ul><li>Riju Ravindran, brother of BYJU'S co-founder Byju Raveendran, has requested the NCLT to remove GLAS Trust from the Committee of Creditors (CoC) in an insolvency case.</li><li>Ravindran has accused US-based lender GLAS Trust of fraudulent representation as a financial creditor and urged NCLT to validate its authority.</li><li>This move follows allegations by Raveendran that lenders, in collaboration with EY, were disrupting the insolvency proceedings of BYJU'S.</li><li>Previously, GLAS Trust had sued BYJU'S in the US, resulting in a conviction for embezzlement and a financial penalty against Raveendran.</li></ul>
