Byju's sells U.S. assets Tynker and Epic! for $97.2 million, much less than the $700 million originally paid.
The sale was part of a bankruptcy process in Delaware overseen by U.S. bankruptcy court judge Brendan Shannon.
Byju's acquired Tynker for almost $200 million in 2021, and Epic! was sold to China's TAL Education Group for $95 million.
Byju's raised a $1.2 billion term loan for global expansion in 2021, but the loan is now entangled in legal issues and director misconduct allegations.
