<ul><li>Deputy works minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan revealed that the cabinet paper on the multi-lane free flow (MLFF) toll collection system will be submitted in January 2025.</li><li>The works ministry (KKR) has informed highway concessionaries that negotiations for the MLFF project will no longer proceed.</li><li>The main challenge in implementing the MLFF system is finalizing its governance structure and obtaining approval from multiple parties.</li><li>13 out of 33 highway concessionaries have yet to agree to the implementation of the MLFF toll collection system.</li></ul>
