Jerry McNerney introduced SB7, also known as the “No Robo Bosses Act”, to require human oversight of AI in the workplace.</li><li>The bill aims to prohibit companies from making employment decisions based solely on automated decision-making systems (ADS) without human oversight.</li><li>It also restricts the use of personal information by ADS to predict workers' future behaviors.</li><li>The bill, co-authored by Assemblymembers Sade Elhawary and Isaac Bryan, is sponsored by the California Federation of Labor Unions, AFL-CIO.</li></ul>
