Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is, to put it simply, more of the same.
The multiplayer offerings are much the same, competitive shootouts that reward the player with increased weaponry or customization.
The range of attachments and manageable roster of guns leaves plenty of room for experimentation, although map layouts tend towards close-quarters weaponry.
Kill Order is a new game mode and Control shares some similarities with Domination.
Zombies have reverted to basic, round-based chaos with a few maps to choose from.
Nonetheless, it's all classic Call of Duty FPS games fare and fun.
The weapon variety and movement options are a game-changer, using the Omnimovement system.
The scorestreaks and perks are fairly streamlined, with some new ability combinations.
But, the launcher has confusing UI elements and can have trouble properly installing the game.
In summary, if you like Call of Duty, you will probably enjoy Black Ops 6.
