Volvo is recalling nearly 454,000 vehicles in the U.S. and Canada due to a software glitch affecting the backup camera.
The issue causes the camera display to go blank when the vehicle is put in reverse, possibly showing a 'Camera is temporarily not available' message.
Models affected include various Volvo sedan and SUV lines from 2021 to 2025.
The fix for the problem involves a simple over-the-air software update, with dealers available for assistance and reimbursement for any prior expenses incurred by customers.
