The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) conducted raids at 60 locations, including the residence of former Chhattisgarh chief minister Bhupesh Baghel, in connection with the Mahadev online betting app case.
The searches were carried out in Chhattisgarh, Bhopal, Kolkata, and Delhi, targeting politicians, senior bureaucrats, police officers, and individuals associated with Mahadev Book.
The CBI seized digital and documentary evidence during the raids for further examination.
The Congress party criticized the raids on Baghel's residence, claiming them to be politically motivated and expressing determination to not be intimidated.
