Cheaper Tesla Model Y may launch in China
- Tesla may release a cheaper Model Y in China based on Juniper sales.
- The cheaper Model Y will have the same battery, power, and chassis as the current Model Y.
- In the week ending on March 9, Tesla China sold 8,700 Model Ys, up from 6,700 units sold two weeks prior.
- The cheaper Model Y in China is expected to have some key differences from the Juniper version.
