Chef Robotics Inc. has raised $43.1 million in Series A funding to accelerate production deployments of its robotic systems for meal assembly.
The funding will help enhance the company's real-world AI data engine, which improves the performance of its embodied AI model and allows manipulation of new customers' ingredients from the start.
Chef Robotics focuses on high-volume, high-mix food assembly applications, targeting the food industry with a significant labor shortage and a growing market for automation.
The company has produced over 44 million servings via robot deployments, and its future plans include expanding to the U.K. market in 2025 and scaling its go-to-market team with the latest funding.
